3-Macro and pic modes

Camera Modes

M (Full Manuel) – You set all the exposure settings.

AV (aperture valued) – You set the aperture and the camera sets the shutter speed.

TV (time valued) – You set shutter speed and the camera decides the aperture.

P (program shift) – The camera sets both of the exposures. It lets you have some control over how fast shutter speed will be.

Green Box (fully automated) – The user has no control. It’s slowest shutter speed is 1/60.

Portrait – The priority is given to the largest aperture.

Landscape – The priority is given to the smalles aperture.

Macro (close up) – It is similar to portrait. It gives a higher priority to faster shutter speeds.

Sports (action) – The priority is given to the fastest possible shutter speed.

Night portrait – This is like the Green box, but it allows the shutter speed to be slower than 1/60 of a second.

Flash off – This is also like the Green box, but it doesn’t allow the flash.

The M, AV, TV, and P allow you to set the ISO and they do not have an auto flash. The Green box, Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Sports, Night portrait, and Flash off do not allow you to set the ISO. Also the flash is ok for all of these modes.

I used bracketing only for the AV mode because I wanted to see the different light modes.

I chose the truffles picture for my featured image becuase I thought that the lighting looked the best.

I learned that many of the camera modes are almost the same but yet they are so different. I also learned that the flash and changing the ISO and shutter speed and aperture can make such a big difference on the quality and lighting of the picture.
